Job Description

A Learning Disabilities Nurse is required in West Sussex working for the largest independent provider of secure mental health facilities across the UK. Working with patients with enduring mental illness, difficult to engage and have challenging needs.

The hospital provides medium and low secure level assessment and therapeutic programmes for women with mental health problems.

You will be caring for women with mental illnesses, personality disorders and/or learning disabilities plus often histories of trauma or abuse, offending or substance misuse.

The hospital expect you to accept personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach.
