They are now extending their community services to Southampton City PCT. Working from 3 centres within the city, you will be delivering Audiology services into the community.
The provision of a high quality service is a key differentiator for our client who recognises the critical and valuable role employees play in service delivery. They are looking to recruit a Junior Audiologist to join the clinical team in establishing and running this new service:
The clinics will be operational from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday and will be staffed on a rota basis.
The working week is 36 hours. Excellent salary & benefits are offered.
Audiologists are responsible for the provision of a range of audiometric investigations and a comprehensive hearing aid service. Audiologists must be able to demonstrate experience in general audiology including routing pure tone impedance and speech audiometry as well as experience of hearing aid assessment and fitting and Rehabilitative Techniques for hearing impaired patients.
Providing a comprehensive ENT service Audiologists will be required to have an MSc, BSc or BSA parts 1&2, HAC, or Diploma in Audiological Science and hold membership of a relevant professional body.
