Job Description

Locum Haematology Occupational Therapist Required

BMS will be responsible for fast and effective processing of samples, the interpretation and validation of results and to assist the BMS 3 in Haematology as required.

To provide a quality, multi-disciplinary analytical role enabling the provision of a comprehensive 24 hour pathology service for laboratory users.

Other duties to include:

•Monitor and enter results from referral laboratories

•Assist BMS3/Section Head with the day to day running of Haematology section

•Ensure equipment in Haematology working correctly

•Ensure internal and external quality schemes are performed

•manufacturers operating instructions

•Stock control and rotation

•Attend meetings/training as required
