Who’s who in the Physio team

At Your World we believe that recruitment is all about people.

The Physio team has an ideal mix of industry knowledge and first hand experience of the role of the Physiotherapist. This combination enables us to understand and appreciate the requirements of our candidates and clients, and in turn provide the best service.

Faye Lyons

I started my career in recruitment back in 2005, where I was working as Therapies Administrator, from here I have worked my way up to Senior Consultant on the UK Physiotherapy division.

I have placed both permanent and locum candidates in the NHS and Private sector including schools. Previously I have worked in Occupational Therapy & Speech and Language Therapy, whilst also gaining experience in Audiology. I have placed both locum and permanent candidates all over the UK.

I was fortunate enough last Christmas to visit Sydney, I stayed with friends who emigrated to Australia some time ago. I found Sydney a fantastic place, I spent my time visiting all the sites Sydney has to offer, I even climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge at twilight, it was unforgettable and truly amazing! I also went on a road trip, taking in Batemans Bay, Jinderbyne and Canberra. It is definitely a country that I will be re visiting again soon!

If you get the opportunity to visit this fantastic country, I would certainly recommend it.

Jack Crawford

I have worked in medical recruitment for the past two years. Previous to this I was playing football for Birmingham City FC where I had what looked a to be a promising career ahead of me until I was hit by a number of injuries which resulted in me spending most of my last season in the treatment room. It was here that I first came in to contact with the Physiotherapists at the club. From then on I learnt more about Physiotherapy and gained a great appreciation of the work that the therapists did. Although the Physios were unable to rehabilitate me to a point where I could resume my career, I would certainly be in a lot worse physical state today if it hadn’t been for their outstanding work.

Since leaving professional football, I have developed a wealth of knowledge in the Physiotherapy field and enjoy the daily interaction with the PTs and the clients. As you can imagine, I have a natural affinity for Sports Therapists, but do a great deal of work with Hospitals for In-Patient and Out Patient care along with Community based therapy as well.
